What is Fingi?

 

Enterprise Data Services, EDS, is the approved Fingi Partner for the Southern Africa and Indian-Ocean Islands.

 

So what is Fingi?

 

Fingi is a branded, white-label application and platform that allows guests to use a smartphone to control every aspect of their stay – from all in-room elements and instant ordering of hotel services to direct communication with the hotel and the outside world.

Fingi Core

 

Fingi CORE interconnects all the services within a brand and its hotels to the guest through both a mobile and in-room experience.

 

Fingi CORE is an open platform which interfaces the guest, hotel staff, and guest room, hotel, brand, and third party systems, including brand and hotel reservation systems, loyalty programs, property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, mobile room key, scheduling systems, and promotion and redemption systems, to the guest through a mobile device app and in-room devices.

Room Control

Fingi FrontDesk Modules

 

Fingi MODULES are a completely customizable set of modules that get installed via the Fingi CORE at a property and can be accessed on a property-wide or room level. The wide selection of Fingi MODULES have been selected and developed by our team of hospitality experts and global travellers.

 

Fingi MODULES are split into two sets of modules: FrontDesk MODULES and In-Room MODULES.

 

Fingi FrontDesk Modules consists of :

 

  • Guest Signature
    • Provides a guest document signature system, allowing the presentation of guest documents, such as registration cards, folios, and payment vouchers, for guest review and signature in the app and/or on a front desk tablet.

  • Reservation
    • The Reservation MODULE is a complete reservation system for brands and hotels, allowing for room allocation and in-app guest reservations.

  • Interface
    • Interface MODULE provides an interface to external systems such property management system (PMS), point of sale (POS), digital signage, reservations, loyalty, PABX, security, facility access, room control units (RCU), heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC), television, DVD/Blu-ray, IPTV, etc.

  • PABX
    • The PABX MODULE is a unique and high-quality communications solution allowing connectivity everywhere (calls can ring on fixed-line handset or mobile at once). Hotel-provided VoIP call lowers the telecommunication costs for all users and for owners/operators, while potentially providing additional hotel revenue streams. Fingi can also integrate with the existing hotel PaBX.

  • APPS
    • The proprietary customized app is flexible, affordable, scalable and simple to download. The app provides a hotel with guest contact before, during and after their stay.

  • ENGAGE
    • Engage provides a window into the operation of a brand / hotel. All activities of the hotel and its guests are logged and stored in the CORE. Analytical information can be retrieved by the hotel in any form desired.


Fingi In-Room Modules


  • Room Control
    • The proprietary Room Control MODULE allows guests to control TVs, lighting, AC, curtains and other audio visual / in-room functions from the single mobile device. In combination with third-party room control units (RCUs) or lighting relay boards, the Room Control Module allows the hotel to create a premium room category.

  • Hotel Device
    • A property-provided mobile device running the app provides guests with a unique, branded, state-of-the-art device giving them universal control and connectivity to enhance their stay.

  • Guess Content
    • The Guest Content TV (GC-TV) is a behind-the-TV device which allows the guest to stream content from their mobiles devices, access hotel guest services, view hotel TV EPG, and access various apps, such as HULU and YouTube.

  • Mobile Key
    • The Mobile Key MODULE provides an encrypted security code delivered to the app to allow access to rooms/areas/facilities, etc. Unlike magnetic swipe cards in use today which require physical interaction to hand-over a physical card, the Mobile Key Module delivers the secure code over the air.

  • Mission Control
    • The Fingi communication center is bed-side device that can replace a number of current in-room devices, including radio alarm clock, speakerphone, audio / charging docking station, thermostat, room controls and room access point.
